Posterous Groups
Wow! Another reason to love Posterous. Today, Posterous introduced a new feature called Groups. Like Posterous says, "Think of an email list. Now, one on steroids." That's what Posterous Groups is. Get email alerts when someone posts a new topic as well as when someone replies. You can send all different attachments and receive them either in your inbox or you can check it out online on your custom Posterous Group site. Have discussions, plan events, share photos, websites, and more. Everyone will be able to stay in the loop; you're able to check out the whole discussion right online in one easy threaded message. Don't want to create your own? Well, if your a Technology fan, join mine! (Edit: hmm, it seems like a user can't actually join a group, but rather needs to be invited. I'm contacting Posterous to see if they will add this feature. Edit #2: I heard back from Posterous, subscribing to a group will indeed become a feature. They are currently beta testing it. )
